Welcome on the QUANTIHEAT European research project website

QUANTItative scanning probe microscopy techniques for HEAT transfer management in nanomaterials and nanodevices

The QUANTIHEAT project tackles issues related to thermal metrology at the nanoscale and aims at delivering validated standards, methods and modeling tools for nanothermal designs and measurements. This 4-year project brings together 20 partners from 7 different European countries and 2 associated countries. It has received funding from the European Union Seventh Framework Programme for research, technological development and demonstration (FP7/2007-2013) under grant agreement n°604668.

Final Quantiheat meeting on 7th - 8th November 2017 in Lyon, France

QUANTIHEAT started four years ago and finished at the end of November 2017. The final meeting was organized in Lyon (France) by the coordinator of the project (CNRS). It was the opportunity to have an overview of all the results achieved and their exploitation and dissemination. The Project Technical Advisor attended the meeting to review the project from the side of European Commission.

The coordinator warmly thanked all the members of the Consortium for their hard work and also the European Commission for their financial support and their confidence in this challenging project. QUANTIHEAT was a real success with a good work atmosphere and team spirit. Most of the objectives were achieved but new scientific challenges are still to be explored…
